Mechanical Engineer

Job Responsibilities Responsible for the implementations and monitoring of all mechanical related operations at the site as per approved drawings, methods, and safety rules.Assess project requirements as per design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate feasibility & cost.Ensure profitable and productive utilization of all departmental resources, ensuring all project activities align with MBM Gulf group’s quality standards, regulations, and systems.Provide efficient manpower plans and material requirement reports to the Project Manager for proper project execution.Create a positive working culture within the team; review current construction skills in the company and propose necessary changes.Improve key construction skills as part of the continuous improvement program.Deliver projects within cost and budget, raising maximum invoices as per top management’s decisions.Communicate the actual construction status to senior management.Work closely with the construction team to deliver necessary drawings and documents to all sites to achieve timely project delivery.Prepare weekly construction goals and targets for all construction projects, managing schedule and cost.Attend site meetings with main contractors & consultants as required.Conduct weekly construction meetings with the core construction team and discuss mitigation action plans.Maintain the right amount of material by planning effectively with the project planning team and planning software.Support and work closely with the procurement department for timely material delivery on-site within the company budget.Identify skills and training needs for construction operations.Apply a systematic approach to the construction process; lead the startup of the construction team, vendor, and client team, maintaining positive working relations.Participate and provide construction input to new sub-contractors within company budgets.Lead major coordination within MEP construction functions, civil contractors, and sub-contractors.Identify the scope for variations on-site to the project team to prepare variation requests.Support quality and safe work practices, leading a safety culture.Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operations and make recommendations to the maintenance crew.Respond to any technical queries regarding mechanical static issues based on the latest standard engineering practices.Authority Determine systems and methods for implementing the project.Purchase necessary resources and means for the project with concerned approval.Perform technical works of the project.Determine working schedules for project implementation.Manage conflicts, disputes, and problems among project stakeholders.Take steps for the unity of all personnel and managers involved in the project.Maintain direct contact with clients.Motivate the development of technical and managerial aspects of the project.Create a suitable environment for the smooth operation of the project.Supervise performance and evaluation of the project.Provide directions regarding performance and working methods of the project.Accountability Complete the project within the allotted budget and time limit.Follow proper construction standards to ensure quality. #J-18808-Ljbffr
