Irrigation Engineer(Water Management Engineer )

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Irrigation Engineer (Water Management Engineer) to manage and maintain advanced irrigation systems, including center pivot systems and pump stations, across large-scale agricultural operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of irrigation infrastructure, data-driven monitoring tools, and a proactive approach to maintenance and optimization.Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain center pivot irrigation systems and pumping stations, ensuring optimal functionality.Operate and troubleshoot Valmont irrigation machines, including preventive and corrective maintenance.Use smart irrigation technologies such as Ag Sense, Valley 365, Valley Schedule by Prospera, and Irri Watch by Hydrosat to monitor and control irrigation systems.Calibrate and manage water flow meters, transducers, PLC-based control systems, soil moisture sensors, weather stations, and underground irrigation networks.Conduct continuous 24/7 data monitoring and analysis using Valley Insights to optimize performance and automation of pivots and pumps.Develop and follow comprehensive maintenance plans (daily, weekly, and annually) for irrigation systems.Analyze irrigation and sensor data to identify trends and improve system efficiency.Prepare and submit daily and weekly reports to the Farm Manager.Ensure accurate calibration and operation of water ponds, pump stations, and underground pipe networks.Maintain strong documentation, system logs, and performance records Desired Candidate Profile Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in irrigation management with pivot systems and pumps in large-scale farming operations.Proven expertise in irrigation machines – both in operation and maintenance.Strong knowledge of irrigation automation, smart farming tools, and remote monitoring systems.Fluency in English is required.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently with high accountability and time management.Experience in using digital tools to monitor environmental conditions and adjust irrigation strategies accordingly.Disclaimer: Naukrigulf.com is only a platform to bring jobseekers & employers together.
