The group operates 21 manufacturing facilities, 6 distribution sites, and 3 R&D/technology centers across North America, employing over 2,700 people.General Purpose of the Job The Field Technical Representative ensures proper application of Tremco CPG Modulite products according to all company and industry standards by providing on-site application support and resolving issues.Modulite offers solutions for constructing 2D panelized walls, 3D modular units, and prefabricated building components, supplying exterior wall panels and materials to modular manufacturers and fabricators, including: Sealants & adhesives Air and weather barriers Spray foams Firestopping Continuous insulation & exterior cladding Essential Duties and Responsibilities Support primary territory product lines independently.Recommend products outside primary lines with occasional guidance.Perform site support through general and complex product applications.Conduct substrate analysis using specialized equipment.Stay updated on practical procedures and new techniques.Collect data for project testing and interpret results.Recommend application policies based on technical literature.Coordinate third-party testing and certifications.Deliver live and web-based training to staff and customers, demonstrating product applications and construction practices effectively.Assess design or application compliance with local codes and standards.Education Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering, Construction, or similar preferred, with 2-4 years of construction or industry experience, ORHigh School Diploma or GED with 5 years of construction or industry experience.Experience At least 2 years of related experience with EIFS/Plastering application.Experience with metal or exterior wall panels.Strong listening, attention to detail, and construction knowledge.Knowledge of product application, design techniques, and chemical properties of substances.Excellent customer service skills.Other Skills, Abilities, and Qualifications Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Emotional intelligence, adaptability, and feedback acceptance.Strong presentation skills and ability to read audiences.Benefits and Compensation Starting salary is approximately $80K, with potential increases based on experience.
