You will be responsible for managing a team of technicians and ensuring the efficient and timely completion of automotive maintenance and repair tasks. You will uphold the highest standards of service quality, safety, and professionalism.Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership and Management: · Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of automotive technicians, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.· Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to enhance their skills, productivity, and performance.· Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement.Workflow Coordination: · Plan and organize daily workflow to optimize efficiency and meet service targets.· Allocate resources effectively to ensure timely completion of customer vehicles.· Monitor work progress and address any issues or delays promptly to minimize customer wait times.· Ensure exceptional customer service delivery at all times, maintaining a positive and professional demeanour.· Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and courteously, striving to resolve issues to their satisfaction.· Foster long-term customer relationships through personalized service and attention to detail.Quality Assurance: · Oversee quality control processes to ensure that all automotive maintenance and repair work meets industry standards and customer expectations.· Conduct thorough inspections of completed jobs to verify quality and identify any deficiencies or areas for improvement.· Implement corrective actions as needed to uphold service excellence.Inventory Management: · Manage inventory levels of automotive parts, tools, and supplies to support efficient operations.· Coordinate with suppliers/vendors to procure required materials in a timely and cost-effective manner.· Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain accurate records of stock levels.Safety and Compliance: · Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations within the garage premises.· Conduct safety training sessions for team members to promote a culture of workplace safety and risk mitigation.· Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements governing automotive service operations.Qualifications and Skills: · Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Automotive Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.· Proven experience in a managerial role within the automotive service industry, with a strong track record of leadership and team management.· In-depth knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.· Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.· Proficiency in computer applications and automotive service management software. #J-18808-Ljbffr
