Head of Projects

We are urgently looking for a Head of Projects to handle fit-out projects in the UAE.Job Description: Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of the projects division to ensure smooth progress.Create and implement company policies and processes as required.Monitor build progress, oversee finance, and ensure project quality.Develop a timeline for the completion of certain milestones for a given project.Monitor team production and satisfaction.Meet with clients, stakeholders, and project managers to report on project progress and issues.Liaise with clients and build strong working relationships.Recommend changes to a project that is ongoing if it appears it is not proceeding on schedule or is producing unsatisfactory results.Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements.Utilize personal contacts in the marketplace and network to bring in new business to help grow the business.Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution.Optimize business workflows.Make strategic decisions and provide leadership and direction to project managers to implement those decisions.Devise cost-effective plans to enable effective project completion.Provide inspired leadership for the organization.Oversee and ensure all projects are meeting financial objectives, are tracked, monitored, and reported on a regular basis. This includes, but is not limited to, labor productivity and risk management.Set team and individual goals, communicate with the management team, and set departmental budgets.Train, nurture, motivate, and guide all fit-out team members to improve their operational knowledge.Supervise staff from different departments and provide constructive feedback.Analyze data to look at trends and find problems.Oversee the tender process and represent the company in the client tender team.Collaborate with leadership to build an environment of collective responsibility and accountability.Requirements: Minimum of 12-15 years of experience with fit-out companies is a must.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in project management tools and design software like PMP, Auto CAD, Photoshop, etc.Bachelor's degree in design, engineering, architecture, project management, or a related field. #J-18808-Ljbffr
