Responsibilities include colleague and guest satisfaction, financial success, health and safety, and environmental stewardship. The Spa Director leads daily operations, manages productivity and expenses, and maximizes revenue aligned with Raffles Spas' positioning. Located within a serene 3,000 sqm wellbeing sanctuary, the Spa at Raffles The Palm Dubai offers complete rejuvenation of mind and body, featuring one of the largest indoor pools on the Palm, a sumptuous hammam, and a unique ozone-controlled air environment, providing an exceptional retreat dedicated to luxury, healing, and holistic care. Job Responsibilities Direct operations of the facility, including strategic planning for cost-effective and efficient spa operation. Ensure the establishment and achievement of departmental goals. Manage, train, and motivate all colleagues in the Spa. Serve as a liaison between the hotel and the spa industry. Meet with group meeting planners to showcase the spa and its programs. Promote and sell customized spa programs to conference groups. Tour prospective spa guests and provide professional information both in person and over the phone. Promote all hotel and spa packages and participate in marketing and public relations initiatives. Lead the implementation of a 12-month marketing plan and identify new business opportunities. Oversee staff training, supervision, and communication within all spa departments, including salon, front desk, and boutique. Administrative Duties Build and maintain relationships with vendors and manage inventory. Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and departmental policies. Prepare and submit monthly reports and treatment audits to senior management. Assist in recruitment, development, and training of staff. Conduct departmental meetings and ensure effective communication. Health and Safety Implement and enforce safety procedures and practices. Develop and adhere to emergency procedures. Ensure all staff understand and follow safety policies. Financial Responsibilities Develop and monitor budgets, approve payroll and invoices, and analyze financial performance against budgets. Review expenditures and control costs of goods, services, and labor. Colleague Relations Maintain positive internal relationships and conduct performance reviews. Develop staffing plans and set goals for team members. Supervise all aspects of colleague management, including hiring, training, and recognition. Guest Service Ensure the facility is maintained in peak condition and guest satisfaction is prioritized. Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a spa or related field is preferred. Experience in the hospitality industry is an asset. Strong desire to deliver exceptional guest experiences. #J-18808-Ljbffr
