Job Role: Network Security Engineer Location: Abu Dhabi, (Onsite)Experience: 3+ years Department: IT/Network Security Contract Duration: 2 years Mandatory: Palo Alto Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Network Security Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will possess 3+ years of experience in managing network security infrastructure, including Forti Gate firewalls, Zscaler ZIA and ZPA, and Infoblox for IPAM and subnet management. You will be responsible for ensuring the security, stability, and efficiency of our network infrastructure, leveraging your expertise in network protocols, automation, and troubleshooting. A strong understanding of Python scripting for network automation is essential.Responsibilities Network Security Management: Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Forti Gate firewalls, Zscaler ZIA and ZPA, and Infoblox systems.Implement and maintain network security policies and procedures.Monitor network traffic for security threats and anomalies.Respond to security incidents and perform root cause analysis.Network Operations: Manage and maintain Cisco routers and switches using CLI.Troubleshoot network issues using tools like ping, traceroute, and nslookup.Ensure the stability and performance of the network infrastructure.Manage DHCP, DNS, and VLAN configurations.Automation and Scripting: Develop and maintain Python scripts for network automation using Telnet and SSH (Netmiko, telnetlib).Automate repetitive tasks to improve operational efficiency.Implement error handling and output parsing in scripts.Automate VLAN setup and Interface management.IPAM and Subnet Management: Utilize Infoblox for IP address management and subnet allocation.Ensure accurate and efficient IP address utilization.Ticket Management and Documentation: Utilize Service Now for ticket monitoring and issue resolution.Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation.Technical Expertise: Demonstrate a strong understanding of TCP/IP and OSI models.Apply knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, ARP).Understand SDN fundamentals.Understand DHCP DORA process.Required Skills And Experience3+ years of experience in network security engineering.Proficiency in managing Forti Gate firewalls, Zscaler ZIA and ZPA.Experience with Infoblox for IPAM.Strong understanding of Cisco routers and switches (CLI).Proficiency in Python scripting for network automation (Telnet, SSH).Experience with Service Now ticketing system.Solid understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and ARP.Experience with network troubleshooting tools (ping, traceroute, nslookup).Understanding of SDN fundamentals.Understanding of DHCP DORA process.Experience with VSCode.Good Documentation skills.Certifications (Preferred)CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)LTI Certified cloud and Infrastructure services Professional.Python 3 Fundamentals.Personal Attributes Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proactive and self-motivated.Continuous learning mindset.Education Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.Benefits Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional growth and development.Dynamic and collaborative work environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
