VP & Head of Collections- PL Open Market & Credit Cards

Job Description This role is responsible for developing and implementing policies for efficient collections and recovery of all retail banking unsecured asset products, with the goal of minimizing NPLs. Ensure collection targets are met in terms of NPL, recovery, and bucket resolutions.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESStrategic Responsibilities Formulating and implementing cost-effective collection and recovery strategies.Reviewing the collection and recovery strategies regularly and adapting techniques based on changes in legal and economic conditions.Coaching, training, developing, and motivating the team of Collection Managers to perform at high standards and enhance their skills.Core Responsibilities Achieving budgeted NPLs, cash recovery, and provision numbers.Regularly reviewing collection strategies and training collectors accordingly.Ensuring capacity planning and load balancing within the unit.Maintaining communication with law enforcement agencies and external lawyers regarding legal scenario updates.Providing portfolio feedback to the Head of Credit & Collections for front-end acceptance criteria adjustments.Maintaining a low-risk audit rating for the unit.Negotiating and settling with customers through a win-win approach.Carrying out collection processes in accordance with the bank's code of conduct and reputation considerations.Establishing a strong collections infrastructure, including external agencies locally and internationally.Job Context Adherence to Collection Policies and Procedures.Meeting Collection Targets and Budgets.Ensuring compliance when dealing with customers.Achieving zero high-risk audit observations.Desired Candidate Profile Master's Degree.Minimum of 15 years of experience in retail banking, with at least 2-3 years in a senior collections role managing a team of at least 75 staff.Company Industry Banking Broking Department / Functional Area Corporate Planning Consulting M&AKeywords VP & Head Of Collections - PL Open Market & Credit Cards Disclaimer: Naukrigulf.com is a platform connecting jobseekers and employers.
