Together, let's chart a course toward a smarter, more sustainable future with Maersk.We are currently seeking passionate individuals to join our dynamic IT team.Position: Onsite IT Support Technician Role Overview: You'll be at the heart of delivering hands-on technology support, ensuring seamless end-user experiences, managing onsite IT infrastructure, and supporting workplace services, data centers, projects, asset management, procurement, and end-users. You will also serve as a key escalation point for remote support during critical incidents requiring onsite expertise.Key Responsibilities: Provide onsite support to various Transport & Logistics brands and business units, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in incident/request management.Manage Asset Life Cycle activities, including installation, moves, additions, changes, and decommissioning of IT equipment (PCs, laptops, printers, servers).Support office move planning and facilities management regarding hardware and software asset management, tracking, and auditing.Conduct IT clinics and training sessions for business users.Troubleshoot LAN cabling and coordinate local IT infrastructure issues.Provide on-call support for critical incidents outside normal hours, including weekends, as part of Business Continuity planning.Support multiple locations and offices, with some travel required.Follow Cyber Security standards and procedures.Provide VIP support as per SLA agreements.Assist with procurement of hardware following Maersk procedures.Coordinate hardware/software upgrades, regional consolidation, and warehouse/office move projects.Support warehouse operations in Dubai South, Industrial City, and the free zone, including supporting RF guns, label printers, network infrastructure, and printers.Support meeting room infrastructure and data center management.Assist with procurement for UAE, Oman, and Qatar regions.Maintain flexibility, willingness to work extended hours, and out-of-the-box problem-solving skills.Requirements: Family book is mandatory (Emirati + family book).Note: The role involves physical activity, supporting technical infrastructure, and requires a proactive, adaptable approach.Disclaimer: Naukrigulf.com is a platform connecting jobseekers and employers.
