Head of Information Technology Department

Responsible for supervising the work of the Information Technology Department, developing policies and strategies, and providing technical support to enhance performance. The role involves applying the latest applications and systems in information security and protection, and supporting the Academy's needs to achieve its goals.Requirements Set objectives, initiatives, and operational plans for the IT Department, and monitor their progress.Contribute to achieving departmental goals and improve service quality, accuracy, and effectiveness.Develop and ensure adherence to IT management processes, policies, and procedures.Monitor department performance against targets and implement corrective actions as needed.Prepare and manage the annual IT budget.Manage the Academy's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, computers, and software, ensuring their security and reliability.Evaluate new solutions, market trends, and technologies to provide high-quality IT services.Oversee the design, construction, and organization of IT infrastructure and applications, ensuring maintenance and integration.Develop and maintain systems and applications for organizational units to support daily operations.Provide technical support for electronic devices and systems to ensure business continuity.Coordinate with IT suppliers and negotiate contracts for quality IT products and services.Manage IT projects, including software implementation and infrastructure upgrades.Ensure projects meet standards and scope for successful delivery.Monitor daily IT practices to maintain effective operations.Develop operational plans and budgets aligned with departmental approval.Plan and implement system upgrades to keep IT architecture current and secure.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet their IT needs.Design and implement security measures to protect IT and data systems.Develop disaster recovery practices and provide technical support to staff. #J-18808-Ljbffr
