The Commercial Director is responsible for developing a comprehensive commercial strategy across all segments and channels to maximize revenue, profit, and market share for the hotel.What will I be doing?The Commercial Director will drive the planning and execution of the commercial strategy by supporting teams such as Revenue Management, Sales, Catering and Events, Marketing, e Commerce, and Public Relations, working effectively with area support teams. Responsibilities include sharing F&B commercial activities with the F&B Manager, Director of Operations, GM, and other stakeholders.The role involves being a role model for the commercial community, developing teams, and acting as a key business partner to the Hotel General Manager. The Commercial Director supports hotels in maximizing value from sales teams and seizes new opportunities through strong customer relationships, representing the company with owners and stakeholders.This position ensures that commercial management strategies are in place for all revenue streams and that systems are utilized to their full potential to generate maximum revenue from rooms, meeting spaces, outlets, and other departments. The role also involves leading, coaching, developing, recruiting, and retaining talent, managing performance based on KPIs, and working within a 4D structure on the property.Key responsibilities include: Driving top-line revenue and forecast accuracy through strategic planning and execution using Hilton tools and intelligence, covering all revenue streams including Rooms, GC&E, F&B, Leisure, and Spa.Working with senior management to maximize profits in line with financial targets.Implementing pricing and rate strategies to maximize sales and market share.Supporting marketing, sales, and PR activities at the hotel level and liaising with regional teams for optimal performance.Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, owners, and support teams.Presenting strategies to regional and key stakeholders.Ensuring conformance to Hilton brand standards and adapting strategies based on market trends.Participating in leadership activities at the hotel and regional levels.Desired Candidate Profile What are we looking for?A successful Commercial Director should embody the following: Local experience and market knowledge, particularly in Doha.Minimum 3+ years of experience in a revenue-generating or commercial role within hospitality/travel industry.Experience presenting sales plans and strategies to senior executives.Experience working in collaborative or matrixed environments.Experience analyzing financial data to make strategic decisions.Experience managing sales or commercial teams for at least 3 years.Additional advantageous qualities include: Experience in multi-hotel or travel industry environments.Knowledge of marketing, e-commerce, and finance.Proficiency in the local language is a strong asset.Company Industry Hotels Hospitality Department / Functional Area Administration This job posting is active and available for applications.
