Logistics and shipping Coordinator

We are currently seeking a highly experienced Logistics and Shipping Coordinator with a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in logistics operations. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end logistics cycle, ensuring accurate documentation, seamless coordination, and timely shipment delivery, while maintaining full compliance with all relevant regulations.Key Responsibilities1. Shipment Coordination: Verify shipping documents and invoices for accuracy and compliance.Coordinate with freight forwarders for shipment scheduling and tracking.Follow up with customs clearance agents to avoid delays at ports.Monitor all inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery.Prepare and submit weekly shipment reports to senior management.2. Order & Document Management: Prepare, route, and manage purchase orders.Review all documents related to shipments before distribution.Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and customs requirements.3. Transportation Management: Coordinate with transportation service providers for timely pickups and deliveries.Monitor and control transportation costs while improving operational efficiency.4. Inventory & Warehouse Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels.Supervise warehouse operations to ensure safe storage, handling, and dispatch of goods.5. Tracking and Compliance: Track the status of shipments and address any transportation issues proactively.Ensure all logistics operations comply with applicable legal, safety, and quality standards.6. Reporting and Analytics: Generate detailed reports on logistics costs, shipment performance, and budget adherence.Analyze logistics data to improve efficiency and support strategic decision-making.Skills and Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 10 years in shipping, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in the marine or shipping sectors.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordination with internal and external stakeholders.Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.Analytical Skills: Capable of analyzing logistics data and making data-driven decisions.Technical Proficiency: Skilled in logistics software, shipment tracking tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.Customer Focus: A service-oriented approach with the ability to resolve issues promptly and professionally.
