Press Tab to Move to Skip to Content Link Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Create Alert The Senior Technical Coordinator arranges, organizes, and checks the processes and documents needed in tender preparation and pre-qualification in terms of Technical Package and ensures they are submitted in accordance with client specifications and requirements. Coordinates with other Departments and forms the key point of contact within the technical team. Job Responsibilities 1 Monitor and verify all technical and planning main project requirements.Notify management of major delays in projects and the status of progress.Schedule monitoring and reporting of design projects.Support tendering department in preparing technical proposals for tenders.Communicate with the Consultant/Client to obtain approval on the baseline schedule and arrange for revised schedules when required.Support projects in proper coordination and preparation of delay analysis methods.Manage and interpret tender requirements; responsible for overall Tender Engineering works such as specifications, drawings, and other technical matters/prequalification.Ensure comprehensive tender preparation and that all tender submissions meet all requirements.Ensure no deviations occur from client specifications.Coordinate with other Departments and act as the key point of contact within the technical team.Track and document all communications.Follow up daily/weekly/monthly with Clients and Departmental Representatives as needed.Follow up on subcontractors' technical submittals/logs to ensure compliance and timely delivery.Monitor document control and ensure IMS procedures are properly implemented.Coordinate with MEP, site, QA/QC, safety, logistics, planning, and commercial departments, providing necessary technical support.Coordinate with Authorities to facilitate approvals. Job Responsibilities 2 Additional Responsibilities 3 Job Knowledge & Skills Advanced proficiency in CAD software and other design tools to oversee technical aspects of projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards.Comprehensive understanding of architectural and engineering principles to coordinate requirements and resolve design challenges.Exceptional communication and leadership skills for managing teams and facilitating collaboration.In-depth knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards for compliance and quality assurance.Strong problem-solving skills to address technical issues and optimize project outcomes.ERP knowledge, preferably SAP, is required. Job Experience Minimum 8 years of working experience, including 5 years relevant experience; 2 years GCC experience is a plus.Accountability, Resilience, Quality, Leadership, Cost Management L3, Drawings/Specifications L3, QA/QC L3, Geotechnical Engineering L3, HSE L3 Education Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
