Department: Logistics & Warehouse Operations Role Objective To lead and coordinate daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and safe handling of goods. The role oversees order processing, inventory control, team supervision, and continuous improvement of logistics efficiency and service delivery.Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.Ensure accurate and timely processing of inbound and outbound shipments.Maintain organized and optimized warehouse layout to support operational flow.Coordinate and execute the transition of operations from third-party logistics (3PL) to in-house control when required.Implement and monitor warehouse KPIs, ensuring service levels and operational targets are met.Inventory & Systems Management Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile discrepancies promptly.Utilize WMS and related technologies (RF scanners, barcoding, etc.) to support data accuracy and process efficiency.Generate reports on inventory status, order fulfillment, and operational trends for management review.Team Supervision & Development Lead, coach, and support a team of warehouse staff, including Coordinators, Assistants, and MHE Operators.Allocate work, monitor team performance, and provide feedback.Identify training needs and support team development to enhance skills and productivity.Manage employee schedules, attendance, leave, and adherence to company policies.Stakeholder Coordination Act as the primary liaison for internal teams (e.g., procurement, customer service) to align operational priorities.Communicate effectively with customers and vendors to ensure timely deliveries and resolve operational issues.Ensure all necessary documentation is accurate and submitted promptly.Health, Safety & Compliance Promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety policies.Conduct risk assessments and enforce safe work practices.Report and investigate incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions.Exercise authority to halt any unsafe activity immediately.Additional Duties Participate in special projects, process improvement initiatives, or cross-functional tasks as assigned.Qualifications & Experience Criteria Requirement Education Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain or related field (Bachelor's preferred) Experience 3-5 years in warehouse/logistics operations; team leadership experience a plus System Knowledge Proficient in MS Office, WMS, RF/barcoding, and inventory systems Language Skills Fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage Industry Exposure Familiarity with GCC/Middle East logistics practices preferred Core Competencies Planning, Time Management, Leadership, Integrity, Communication, Organization Technical Knowledge Warehouse safety standards, MHE operation, racking systems, and documentation Health & Safety Accountability Ensure a safe work environment for self and team.Verify that all staff are trained and competent for assigned tasks.Investigate and report all incidents promptly.Lead by example in safety, quality, and compliance.Skills: logistics,operations,wms,inventory control,health,reporting,logistics management,warehouse operations,rf scanners,team supervision,barcoding,mhe,health and safety compliance
