QA/QC Inspector - SPM Buoy Construction

Job Summary Ensure strict compliance with quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements for the SPM Buoy construction project. Conduct inspections, audits, and tests to identify defects, implement corrective actions, and maintain high-quality deliverables.Key Responsibilities Perform material, welding, coating, and dimensional inspections per project specs.Conduct NDT (RT, UT, MT, PT), weld inspections (CSWIP 3.1), and coating inspections (NACE/BGAS).Document non-conformities, track corrective actions, and maintain QA/QC records.Support internal & external audits, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ASME, API, and safety standards.Review procedures, work instructions, and test reports for accuracy.Analyze quality data, prepare reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders.Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's in Mechanical/Metallurgical/Marine Engineering or related field.7+ years QA/QC experience in EPCIC Oil & Gas/Marine projects (2-3 years in full project lifecycle).Mandatory Certifications: CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector NACE Level II / BGAS Grade 2 Coating Inspector ASNT NDT Level II (RT, UT, PT, MT)ISO 9001: 2015 Lead Auditor (IRCA preferred)Strong knowledge of welding, NDT, coatings, and fabrication standards.Proficient in MS Office, SAP/Oracle (preferred).Fluent in English with strong communication skills.Work Environment Site-based role in an industrial construction setting.Must handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines Skills: material inspection,asme standards,api standards,sap,microsoft office,non-destructive testing,oracle,spm,dimensional inspection,coating inspection,iso 9001 compliance,construction,welding inspection,quality assurance,quality control,welding
