Lead Geophysicist Position - Join Our Subsurface Team

Job Title: Geophysics Team Lead Crescent Petroleum is seeking a technical lead for geophysics to join the Subsurface Team. The team will be led by a highly experienced Geophysics Team Lead who will provide technical leadership for all geophysical studies.The role includes managing team performance (goal setting and performance evaluation) and team development (identifying training needs and supporting career advancement). Additionally, the Geophysics Team Lead will lead the geophysics part of Upstream's well delivery process and provide technical support to ongoing drilling operations as well as provide technical support to area asset managers and field development projects.The successful candidate will plan and manage geophysics projects to ensure on-time delivery. They will also contribute to business development activities and develop strategic goals and objectives for the geophysics team.The ideal candidate will have a university degree in geophysics (MSc or Ph D preferred), 12-15+ years of experience in geophysics (E&P Operating Company or Geoscience Consultancy), and held similar positions leading high-performance technical teams. Expertise in seismic interpretation, data processing, and proficiency in Petrel are required. Fluency in English is essential, while skills in Arabic are an advantage.
