Job Overview: Here's your chance to step into the role of Assistant Manager (Audio, Visual and Lightning) at Dubai Holding Entertainment . In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include: Key Responsibilities: - Assist in planning, configuring, and operating AV and lighting systems for the season, and permanent installations. Supervise and support AVL technicians during setup, rehearsals, operations. Troubleshoot real-time technical issues and provide effective resolutions. Support project execution from equipment planning to post-event reporting. Manage AVL equipment inventory, including maintenance schedules and fault tracking. Assist in reviewing and implementing AVL designs and signal flows. Ensure that all AVL executions meet the organization's quality standards and technical specifications. Ensure all AVL setups comply with safety regulations and risk management protocols. Communicate effectively with production teams, clients, and internal departments. Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and calibration schedules to ensure readiness of gear. About you: The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Audio Engineering, Lighting Design, Electronics, or related field. 5+ years of hands-on experience in AVL operations, ideally in events, entertainment, or hospitality. Proficiency in AVL control systems (e.g., Dante, Q-SYS, MA Lighting, Cham Sys, Avolites, etc.) Familiarity with rigging principles and basic electrical knowledge. Experience with CAD drawings, schematics, or AVL plotting tools is a plus.
