Senior Compute Solutions Specialist: We seek an experienced and detail-oriented professional to manage our data center operations. The ideal candidate will handle escalated technical issues, troubleshoot hardware failures, and analyze performance metrics. Key Responsibilities: Advanced Technical Support: Resolve complex hardware and firmware issues related to compute platforms.Deep dive into system performance and identify areas for optimization.Collaborate with architecture teams to design and implement new solutions.Compute Infrastructure Management: Manage virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and hypervisor clusters.Develop and maintain scripts for platform automation and management.Work with tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet for Iaa C (Infrastructure as a Code).Monitoring and Optimization: Use enterprise monitoring tools to track system health and capacity trends.Proactively analyze performance metrics and recommend optimization strategies.Security and Compliance: Ensure platform configurations adhere to corporate security policies and regulatory standards.Assist with vulnerability remediation and hardening of compute infrastructure.Collaboration and Project Involvement: Provide subject matter expert input for infrastructure projects and migrations.Collaborate with vendors (e.g., Dell, HPE, Lenovo) for support and lifecycle planning.
