Senior Media Relations Specialist

Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven media relations professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with local and international media outlets, as well as preparing and distributing a range of written materials including press releases, newsletters, and client correspondence.Develop a thorough understanding of clients' business and their competitive environment Perform client and media background research Prepare and distribute a full range of written materials Develop and maintain media contacts and databases Provide on-ground media relations assistance for coverage of ongoing events Key Responsibilities: Assist and coordinate special events (e.g., press conferences, media events, and interviews)Assist in execution of social media programs outreach Establish, develop, and maintain strong and effective media relations Research media and develop creative story angles/news hooks to secure press Support account PR account responsible with press release writing, media list creation and maintenance, and other projects Requirements The ideal candidate will have a degree in Public Relations, Mass Communications, Journalism, Media or related field, and 0-2 years of experience in the PR, Media, Mass Communications or Journalism Industry.
