IT Portfolio Manager - UAE Bank Job

Are you a seasoned program/portfolio project management professional seeking a new challenge in IT Project Portfolio Delivery?Key Responsibilities Define the portfolio strategy and ensure projects align with the organization's strategic objectives;Coordinate the planning of multiple programs and projects, managing cross-functional teams and resources effectively;Monitor and track portfolio performance, providing timely status reports, risks, and mitigation plans;Implement and manage portfolio governance processes to ensure compliance with standards, policies, and frameworks;Manage stakeholder relationships and expectations, ensuring portfolio value is understood and communicated clearly;Conduct regular portfolio reviews and adjust strategies for successful outcomes;Lead risk identification and mitigation processes across the portfolio;Develop and enhance the knowledge and skills of key team members, including PMs and BAs;Ensure a high success rate for projects delivered on time, within scope, and within budget;Reduce portfolio-level delivery risks through early identification and mitigation strategies;Improve visibility and reporting accuracy for the portfolio;Minimize resource conflicts through improved cross-project resource management;Enhance resource onboarding via pipeline management and leveraging ODCs and partners;Achieve effective portfolio resource utilization without exceeding budgets;Implement portfolio review processes with 100% of projects evaluated quarterly for alignment to business strategy;Maintain 95% of projects within budget across the portfolio.Requirements Minimum 12 years of experience in program, portfolio, and project management, preferably in banking and/or financial services industries;Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar project portfolio management role, preferably in banking and/or financial services industries;A Bachelor's Degree in project management, engineering, business administration, or similar fields; a Master's Degree is preferred.Benefits: A competitive compensation package will be discussed with shortlisted candidates.
