Culinary Operations Specialist
Description
The role of Commis involves being a skilled and versatile member of the kitchen team. As a key player in the culinary operations, you will work closely with other colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of our dishes.Responsibilities include participating in food preparation, service, and cleaning activities within the Butchery Shop. This may involve cutting, trimming, boning, tying, and grinding meats to prepare them for cooking. Additionally, you will be responsible for estimating meat requirements, ordering or requisitioning supplies to maintain inventory levels, and recording quantities received and issued to cooks or staff members.You will also ensure that store rooms, fridges, and deep freezers are kept clean and organized at all times. Moreover, you will guarantee that garbage bins are covered, emptied, and properly lined at all times. Furthermore, you will need to maintain the required standards for grooming and uniform presentation, as well as adhere to Hotel Health, Safety & Hygiene Policy.This position requires close communication with the Butcher regarding operational and personal matters, including information not directly related to the Butcher's duties. You must also familiarize yourself with procedures such as Hotel fire procedures, First Aid procedures, Health & Safety policy & procedures, Hotel security procedures, and Hotel product knowledge.In terms of accountabilities, you will represent Dusit's brand and values at all times, aiming to establish relationships and deliver an exceptional guest experience while promoting Thai graciousness.
