Lab Operations Specialist

Job Title: Laboratory Assistant We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Laboratory Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting scientists and researchers in the preparation, execution, and documentation of experiments.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to learn and work in a fast-paced laboratory setting. As a Laboratory Assistant, you will have the chance to develop your skills in laboratory operations, safety protocols, and equipment maintenance.Responsibilities: Assist in preparing and organizing laboratory materials and supplies efficiently.Conduct routine laboratory tests and accurately document experimental results.Maintain a clean and safe laboratory environment to comply with safety standards.Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment according to manufacturers' guidelines.Support researchers by gathering and analyzing data as required.Label, store, and manage samples to ensure proper tracking and retrieval.Monitor inventory levels and order supplies to prevent shortages and interruptions.Dispose of hazardous waste following established laboratory procedures and regulations.In this role, you will also have the opportunity to work collaboratively with team members to enhance productivity and resolve laboratory issues.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a scientific field or laboratory technology preferred.Strong understanding of laboratory safety protocols and practices required.Prior experience in a laboratory setting will be considered an asset.Ability to operate laboratory equipment and troubleshoot minor issues.Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Proficiency with data analysis software and laboratory information systems.
