Job Overview Automation Systems Specialist We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Systems Specialist to maintain and optimize our production processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliable performance of automated systems, troubleshooting issues, and implementing improvements.The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge with different types of PLCs, HMIs, Networks, communication protocols, and a systematic approach to develop step-by-step processes to investigate and resolve issues.Key Responsibilities Maintain and troubleshoot automation solutions for industrial equipment control systems, SCADA systems, and process automation.Collaborate with technicians to analyze system performance and meet production goals and quality standards.Configure, integrate, and troubleshoot industrial automation systems, including sensors, actuators, drives.Ensure PLC systems, HMI applications, and other control systems are optimized for manufacturing processes and equipment performance.Conduct thorough testing and validation of automation systems to ensure reliability, safety, and compliance with industry standards.Provide technical support, diagnose and resolve automation/Process-related issues, and optimize system performance.Analyze production data, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and identify opportunities for process improvements and automation enhancements.Required Skills and Qualifications Total years of experience in relevant industry 5 years.Hands on knowledge with different types of PLCs, HMIs, Networks, communication protocols.A systematic approach to develop a step-by-step process to investigate and resolve issues.Strong analytical skills to break down complex problems into smaller components, identify patterns, and understand the root causes of issues.Benefits Full time employment opportunity.FMCG industry.Foods and beverages company.Other Information This position requires collaboration with Process, Mechanical and Electrical technicians, to analyze the systems performance to meet production goals and quality standards.Please note that this is a job description for an internal audience only.
