Reliability Maintenance Engineer Lead

The role of a Maintenance Supervisor is crucial in ensuring the optimal functioning of operational equipment and facilities infrastructure within the Amazon facility.This position involves leading a technical team to provide both reactive and proactive maintenance services, developing plans to achieve engineering departmental goals, and managing contractors.Key Responsibilities: Implementing planned preventative maintenance on a range of equipment within the site.Reacting quickly to breakdowns, communicating effectively with affected stakeholders, and resolving issues efficiently.Supporting continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and sending feedback and suggestions through the line manager.Ensuring high levels of equipment availability for internal customers.Learning from Senior Reliability Engineering Technicians and management of contractors.Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Electronics/Automation/Control Systems.1-2 years of experience in conveyors/automation/control systems maintenance.Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems.Fault finding within MHE (Material Handling Equipment)/Automation systems.Interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings.Conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters experience.Preferred Qualifications: Auto-CAD drawing experience.Sortation machines experience.Troubleshooting through PLC experience.Understanding of sustainability concepts such as energy-saving initiatives, waste management, and best facility practices.HVAC, fire system, electrical, and mechanical systems knowledge.Ability to work in high-volume warehouse environments and respond promptly to breakdowns.
