Space Operations Leader

Lead Space Operations We are looking for a seasoned professional to lead our space operations team.Develop and execute operational strategies to ensure seamless mission execution.Leverage technical expertise to drive satellite operations, software development, and avionics integration.Mentor junior engineers to develop an independent space operations team in the UAE.Collaborate with leadership to align global operations with company goals.About This Role: Operational Leadership: Lead satellite fleet shifts, ensuring continuous mission operations and identifying areas for improvement.Satellite Operations Strategy: Develop and drive strategic plans for satellite operations, including software and avionics collaboration.Team Development: Mentor and guide junior engineers to develop an independent space operations team.Global Alignment: Liaise with leadership to ensure alignment with global operations.Requirements: Strong background in satellite operations, capable of understanding complex mission requirements.Demonstrated scripting experience, preferably in Python, for automation and mission performance.Proven leadership skills, ability to lead a technical team in high-pressure environments.Nice to Have: Experience with Airbus satellite platforms, particularly the Arrow-150 bus, in avionics, ADCS, or propulsion.Experience with low-earth orbit satellite operations.Hands-on Python development and testing experience, working with a complex software stack.Experience with satellite constellation management.Arabic language skills or a willingness to learn is highly desirable.About Us: We are a leading player in the space industry, committed to making space simple for organizations.
