Data Center Operations and Security Coordinator

Job Description A key aspect of our organization's growth is the need for an Operational Security Specialist Intern to drive operational security excellence within our data centers. As a Data Centre Operational Security Specialist Intern, you will be tasked with developing reports, creating presentations, and communicating with management on the status of physical security operations.This internship covers mandatory as well as voluntary university internships. You will participate in our 12-week internship program in our Berlin Data Centres, where you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and contribute to the success of our team.The role involves interfacing with vendors involved in new security construction, repairs, daily security operations, and patrols. You will also be responsible for extracting metrics, observing improvements, and making suggestions on improving electronic surveillance and access controls.In addition, you will direct efforts to educate data center occupants on false alarm reductions and work closely with the team to achieve this goal.This position requires the intern to report to work onsite on a daily basis.
