Android Software Specialist

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our mobile development team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications using Kotlin. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in Kotlin and experience with React Native for cross-platform development. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.Key Responsibilities Design and build high-performance, scalable, and user-friendly Android applications using Kotlin Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive and engaging user interfaces Work with back-end developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow Write clean, well-documented, and testable code Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues Optimize application performance and ensure a smooth user experience Stay up-to-date with the latest Android and mobile development trends Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field Proven experience as an Android Developer with a strong portfolio of Kotlin and React Native projects Strong proficiency in Kotlin and experience with Android frameworks (e.g., Android SDK, Jetpack)Solid understanding of React Native and its core principles Experience with RESTful APIs and JSONFamiliarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment Experience with Java Knowledge of mobile UI/UX best practices Experience with automated testing (e.g., JUnit, Espresso, Jest)Understanding of the mobile development lifecycle Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API)Benefits Competitive pay Discretionary bonus Comprehensive Healthcare
