Senior Quantity Surveyor Project Manager

Job Opportunity We are seeking a seasoned Quantity Surveyor/Project Manager to lead the commercial aspects of our construction projects.About the Job This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor/Project Manager to join our team and take on a challenging role in managing the commercial aspects of our building asset projects. You will work closely with our Directors, Clients, and Stakeholders to ensure that all commercial aspects are properly controlled and monitored throughout the project lifecycle.Assist Directors in leading and delivery of all aspects of quantity surveying from inception of a project through to completion.Experienced in working collaboratively within a team of professionals delivering cost management and consultancy services.Possess sound knowledge and experience of all building works elements – enabling works, substructure & superstructure, facades, finishes, FF&E, external works, etc.Responsibilities Your primary responsibilities will include: Producing cost estimates at concept, scheme and detailed design stage, and overseeing the production of a detailed BOQ for tender.Managing the tender process, reviewing and analyzing tender returns, and preparing a recommendation to the client.Working knowledge of industry recognized Contract forms (FIDIC) and standard methods of measurement including POMI and NRM.Support in benchmarking, data collection, and internal financial reporting.Assessing and valuing progress payments and change requests.Reviewing and comparing scopes of work, production rates, and cost data.Preparing, reviewing, and updating cash-flows.Estimating variation orders for Subcontractors/GC Contractors.Reviewing and evaluating payment certificates for Subcontractors/GC Contractor.Evaluating and negotiating variations and change orders in liaison with the Contract Administrator, Commercial Manager, Design and Construction Team.Evaluating and negotiating final accounts settlements.Qualifications and Experience To be successful in this role, you will require: Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying and/or Engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited, internationally recognized institution or University.Working towards MRICS or equivalent accreditation preferred Minimum 8 years experience post graduation Benefits We offer a competitive package including: Medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, disability benefits Flexible work options Well-being resources Employee assistance program Business travel insurance Service recognition awards Retirement savings plan Employee stock purchase plan
