Senior Technical Leader: Autonomy Solutions

Our products include intelligent, autonomous systems that support U.S. and allied operations.We are seeking a Chief Engineer to lead our team in deploying advanced autonomy solutions on Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). The ideal candidate will have defense industry experience as a Chief Engineer and a proven track record of leading technical teams.Job Description Serve as the Chief Engineer on Shield AI projects focused on developing and deploying autonomy solutions for unmanned aircraft.Lead a team responsible for advancing Hivemind Autonomy and shaping Department of Defense (Do D) autonomy architectures.The Chief Engineer will be responsible for solving complex technical challenges, defining technical objectives, making key engineering decisions, and ensuring the quality and completeness of all technical deliverables.Requirements10+ years of industry experience in autonomy and/or UAS platforms.7+ years of delivering software into production/certifiable environments with high-reliability.Understanding of guidance, control and navigation (GNC).Understanding of robotics stack.Experience defining technical scope and managing technical requirements.Demonstrate problem-solving skills by applying a scientific technical approach.Benefits Our international team members receive a comprehensive international benefits package on top of base salary.
