Medical Imaging Specialist

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations and providing diagnostic support.Key Responsibilities: Perform routine and specialized ultrasound examinations, assessing images for diagnostic purposes and collaborating with radiologists or referring clinicians for interpretation.Prepare patients by explaining procedures, verifying medical history, and ensuring their privacy and comfort throughout the examination.Evaluate image clarity, contrast, and presence of artefacts to ensure all ultrasound images meet clinical standards for diagnostic quality.Operate, calibrate, and maintain ultrasound machines, promptly reporting any malfunctions or equipment issues.Requirements To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements: 5 years' experience in a medical or safety-related healthcare setting.Valid licensure or registration with a relevant professional body.Evidence of continuing education or certification in advanced imaging modalities.Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is an advantage.Proven experience in sonography within hospital or diagnostic imaging settings.Cross-training in radiography is required.Benefits As a Medical Imaging Specialist with us, you will enjoy an attractive tax-free salary and travel benefits that are exclusive to our industry.
