Job Overview We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our health and safety initiatives. As a Sr Manager Health Safety, you will be responsible for driving positive change and championing rider welfare.Key Responsibilities Owning the data strategy for rider health and safety, leveraging insights to design and optimize processes that enhance speed, efficiency, and rider wellbeing.Leading project management efforts to develop and execute region-specific action plans, ensuring adherence to strict timelines, market-specific needs, and seamless coordination with global, regional, and local stakeholders.Leveraging industry-leading technologies and processes such as telematics, accident validation, and Incident Management Systems (IMS) by auditing BAU operations, identifying inefficiencies, and driving improvements for a safer and more efficient rider experience.Developing, implementing, and maintaining safety SOPs to ensure consistency across all markets while regularly reviewing and updating them to align with evolving safety standards and operational needs.Serving as the advocate for rider safety by staying up to date with local safety regulations and best practices while collaborating with regulators and the public relations team to drive meaningful safety improvements both on and off the road.Demonstrating strategic thinking and excellence in key safety initiatives such as Road Safety Weeks, Rider Insurance process, social media ride safety campaigns, and the adoption of innovative technology solutions.Leveraging data-driven insights to identify safety risks, measure impact, and drive informed decision-making.Addressing and investigating safety complaints and concerns raised by Vendors/Riders and customers, implementing corrective action plans to eliminate potential dangers.Requirements HSE certification or relevant qualifications5-6 years health & safety experience, ideally within logistics Data-driven, likes to analyze data, derive insights, and present findings concisely. Critical thinking is a must; previous experience with analytical tools (SQL, Excel, Gsheets, Tableau, Looker, or equivalent) is desired.Excel in leadership skills and stakeholder management, collaborating across teams and with external partners.Proven project management experience.Experience in developing and implementing safety protocols.A proactive approach to risk assessment and mitigation.You are happy working in a fast-paced environment and see changes as opportunities.Fluent in English; Arabic and Urdu fluency is a plus.About the Role This role isn't just about maintaining safety; it's about driving positive change and championing rider welfare at every step.
