The Asset Supply Chain Supervisor plays a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the asset supply chain processes for the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and an adeptness at problem-solving.Responsibilities Develop and implement effective strategies to optimize asset supply chain processes and procedures.Oversee the management of asset inventory, ensuring accuracy and timely updates in inventory systems.Coordinate closely with production, purchasing, and quality control teams for seamless operations.Monitor and evaluate asset supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency.Lead negotiations with vendors to secure cost-effective agreements and optimize asset procurement.Ensure that all asset supply chain activities comply with relevant legal, safety, and quality standards.Implement and maintain advanced logistics and inventory management systems and tools.Provide leadership, support, and training to asset supply chain team members.Prepare and present regular reports on asset supply chain performance and metrics to senior management.Ensure optimization of asset lifecycle management to enhance utilization and reduce waste.Facilitate communication and collaboration between various departments and external suppliers.Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders.Requirements Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field required.Minimum of five years of experience in supply chain or logistics management.Proven ability to develop and implement asset supply chain strategies effectively.Strong proficiency in inventory management software and logistics tools.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Effective communication and leadership abilities to manage diverse teams successfully.Comprehensive understanding of supply chain, inventory, and logistics processes.Experience in vendor management and contract negotiations is highly desirable.Proven track record of improving efficiency and reducing costs in asset management.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Disclaimer: Naukrigulf.com is only a platform to bring jobseekers & employers together.
