Data Platform Lead

Job Summary The Data Platform Lead is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and oversight of the bank's enterprise data management platform, including tools for data governance, data quality, metadata management, and master data management (MDM).Key Responsibilities Participating in Data Platform Solutions Evaluation, Selection and Implementation Leading and managing Vendors / Consultants for All Data platform related projects (including DW, ETL, Data Model, Data Architecture, Data Quality, Data Virtualization, Data Governance)Supports the implementation of tools for data governance frameworks, data quality standards, and data security measures across the organization Lead the implementation and maintenance of MDM systems Provide training and guidance to team members on data platform technologies Work with business units and IT to align data platform outcomes with business objectives Support data-driven decision-making by ensuring the availability of high-quality data Required Skills: Experience in implementation and maintenance of a new age data lake for a bank Deep understanding of banking data models, key challenges faced and solutions as part of a Data platform implementation Knowledge of MDM, Data quality, Data Cataloguing, Data Governance tools Strong SQL knowledge and understanding of data modeling principles.Knowledge of data architecture and ETL/data integration concepts.Understanding of banking and financial products.Familiarity with regulatory requirements in UAE and international frameworks Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's or Master's degree12+ years of experience in managing data platform for a bank Experience managing large data platform implementation from start to go live#J-18808-Ljbffr
