Business Development Manager – Marine Electrical

Vacancy Job Description· Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the marine electrical and automation sectors.· Build and maintain relationships with shipowners, shipyards, OEMs, and key stakeholders.· Promote services including PLC/SCADA retrofits, switchboard upgrades, VFD installations, and engine control system refurbishments.· Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to formulate effective strategies.· Prepare technical-commercial proposals, quotations, and presentations.· Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows.· Collaborate with engineering and service teams to align technical offerings with client requirements.· Meet sales targets, ensuring consistent revenue growth.· Provide regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and client feedback.Desired Candidate Profile REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or Marine Engineering. Experience: Minimum 5 years in business development or sales within the marine or industrial automation sector. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of marine electrical systems, PLCs (Siemens, Delta, Schneider), SCADA, and automation technologies.· Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.· Strategic, customer-oriented mindset with a problem-solving approach.· Ability to translate technical solutions into clear business value. Technical Proficiency: MS Office, CRM tools, digital marketing familiarity.
