Join to apply for the Maternal and Fetal Medicine Specialist role at NMC Healthcare.Direct message the job poster from NMC Healthcare.Responsibilities Perform professional duties as a consultant obstetrician/gynecologist, including surgical care in the operating room and outpatient department for gynecologic and obstetric conditions, both emergency and planned.Cover the Delivery Room, admitting patients, reviewing history, planning care, performing deliveries, and collaborating with midwives.Respond promptly to calls for consultation from the Emergency Service.Perform and interpret ultrasound examinations in hospital and outpatient settings.Interpret fetal heart rate monitoring and take appropriate actions.Consult with physicians from other services as needed.Communicate with patients' families regarding patient condition and plans.Support Continuous Quality Improvement and develop standards of care.Collaborate with other HODs on policies and procedures to promote quality healthcare.Recommend patient transfers to other facilities when required.Keep the Division Head informed of departmental activities and seek guidance as needed.Exercise effective interpersonal skills with staff, colleagues, and management.Maintain confidentiality of patient and administrative information.Demonstrate dependability in fulfilling duties and obligations.Provide on-call emergency coverage for obstetric emergencies.Perform other related duties as assigned.Qualifications Graduation from an approved Medical School with completion of an approved Obstetric residency program and specialty certification.Minimum of three years full-time experience as an Ob-Gyn practitioner.Thorough knowledge of medical ethics, confidentiality, and adherence to hospital bylaws and regulations.Current licensure in the country of training and DHA license to practice in Dubai.Excellent command of English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus but not essential.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with co-workers, patients, and families.Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Health Care Provider Industries Hospitals and Health Care, Medical Practices#J-18808-Ljbffr
