Control Systems Engineer

Control Systems Specialist In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a global leader in the Manufacturing industry.Key Responsibilities: Bachelor's degree in Electrical/I&C Engineering is required.Minimum 8-10 years of post-degree engineering experience in an automation-related field is preferred.You will be working with control system design and equipment including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). Your strong knowledge of Rockwell Automation Factory Talk and Studio5000 software platforms will enable you to create effective programs using Allen Bradley PLC, SCADA, and HMI. You should also have experience with simulation tools and software to model the behaviour of the control system.A good understanding of industrial control networks, including Ethernet/IP and communications protocols, is essential. Additionally, you should have knowledge of hardware devices such as relays, VFDs, sensors, and basic controls devices. Troubleshooting PLC, SCADA, and HMI programs is also a key aspect of this role.Familiarity with plant manufacturing, including electrical / controls technology in a production and processing environment, is necessary. You will be expected to support and continuously improve existing automation processes.
