Procurement Expert The Procurement Expert plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of procurement activities. This includes coordinating and executing procurement requests, as well as liaising with vendors and suppliers to resolve challenges or bottlenecks within the procurement cycle.The key objectives of this position are: To ensure that procurement is carried out in a cost-effective manner.To identify opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes, and practices.The Procurement Expert will be responsible for implementing procurement department policies and procedures, managing logging and recording of procurement information, and building partnerships with current and potential suppliers.Additionally, the Procurement Expert will review contract performance, identify variances or deviations, and report nonconformities to the procurement section.This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Legal, or a related field, and at least 8 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, with a focus on Procurement.Required Skills and Qualifications: The following skills and qualifications are required for this position: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Legal, or a related field.At least 8 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, with a focus on Procurement.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to build partnerships with suppliers.Knowledge of procurement policies and procedures.Experience with contract management.Ability to work in a team environment.The following skills are desirable: Knowledge of supply chain management principles.Experience with inventory management.Knowledge of financial analysis and budgeting.Ability to analyze data and make recommendations.
