Any European National, Any Anglophone National, Any CIS National Any Vacancy1 Vacancy Job Description Safely operate and navigate heavy vehicles, ensuring compliance with traffic regulations and company policies.Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify mechanical issues and ensure vehicle safety.Transport goods and materials to designated locations, adhering to delivery schedules and routes.Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times to comply with legal requirements.Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to report any delays or changes in delivery schedules.Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of goods to prevent damage during transit.Manage and maintain vehicle cleanliness and organization, both inside and out, to represent the company professionally.Follow all health and safety regulations, including those specific to transporting hazardous materials.Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance driving skills and knowledge of industry standards.Resolve on-road issues promptly, including vehicle breakdowns and emergency situations, while maintaining calm and professionalism.Desired Candidate Profile High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in heavy vehicle operation are a plus.Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record and relevant endorsements.Minimum of 3 years of experience driving heavy vehicles in a commercial setting, preferably in logistics or distribution.Familiarity with GPS technology and route planning tools to optimize travel efficiency.Strong physical stamina and fitness to handle the demands of loading, unloading, and long-distance driving.Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage, especially for international routes.Ability to read and understand maps, road signs, and delivery instructions effectively.Excellent problem-solving skills to navigate unexpected challenges on the road.Demonstrated reliability and a strong work ethic, with a commitment to safety and compliance.Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed for timely deliveries.Employment Type Full Time Company Industry Interior Designing Department / Functional Area Transport Driving Keywords Time Management Road Transport Driver Heavy Goods Vehicle Driver Route Planning Heavy Vehicle Operation Disclaimer: Naukrigulf.com is only a platform to bring jobseekers & employers together.
