Operations Associate - Payment & Remittance Specialist

Job Description This role is responsible for the processing and handling of various payment and remittance transactions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, be able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment, and have a keen eye for detail.The responsibilities of this position include: Receiving and sorting of remittance application forms, standing orders, swift messages, and incoming payment messages through remittance systems.Printing and distributing documents to concerned parties, including online customer cheque requests and batch headers received through FAX servers.Maintenance of payment routing and additional parameters in remittance systems, as well as signature books for other banks.Checking and controlling process queues in remittance systems and related email queues.Preparation of MOF standing order covers, missing TT and batch header reports, and CB reports for finance.Handling queries from various stakeholders and adhering to policy and controls.Key Responsibilities Some key responsibilities of this role include: Processing payments and covering payments through CB portal, bulk payments, and TT/DD/SO cancellation requests.Repairing of messages through the system and issuance of demand drafts.Updating of CMS/I-Flex host and other banking systems according to AML processes.Investigating queries and escalating them if necessary.Reviewing relevant policy and procedure documents regularly.Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: A minimum bachelor's graduate degree.0-1 years of experience in operations as a processor.Specified area/field of experience: Preferably in Payment & Remittance.
