Job Description - Group, Conference, and Events Sales Manager (HOT0BM8X)Job Number: HOT0BM8XWork Locations Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah, Vienna Street, Ras Al Khaimah, 99999The Group, Conference, and Events (GCE) Sales Manager manages the GCE Sales office to actively convert customer enquiries into confirmed sales.What will I be doing?As GCE Sales Manager, you will manage the sales office to convert enquiries into sales, interact with customers to understand their needs, and develop relationships for repeat business. Your responsibilities include: Maximising revenue opportunities Reviewing business plans and filling capacity gaps Contributing to the hotel's selling strategy and ensuring departmental adherence Understanding the competitive market and implementing strategies to stay ahead Conducting weekly audits of bookings and team performance Developing the GCE Sales Team in relationship building, customer service, selling techniques, and contract processing Managing team development, career progression, and succession planning Organising hotel promotional activities What are we looking for?The ideal candidate will have: Previous managerial or supervisory experience in Reservations or GCE Sales in the hotel/leisure sector Strong leadership skills to motivate and achieve targets Analytical skills to understand market trends and develop strategies Excellent selling and coaching abilities Organisational and planning skills Accountability, resilience, and ability to work under pressure Flexibility in work situations Preferred capabilities include knowledge of hotel property management systems and prior experience in a similar role.What will it be like to work for Hilton?Hilton, a leading global hospitality company, offers a range of accommodations from luxury hotels to mid-priced options.
