Design Drafting Specialist

Job Title BIM/CAD Technician About the Role This position is responsible for performing basic to moderately-difficult design/drafting assignments. The ideal candidate will work closely with BIM Lead and Design Leads to ensure project compliance with policies and processes.The successful candidate will be able to manage all BIM related activities from project start-up to completion, review drawings for readability and presentation, and create different types of parametric and non-parametric families.They will also have strong knowledge in LOD requirements, collaborate with other disciplines on coordination issues, and produce scheduling and quantity extraction from the model.A diploma or degree in civil engineering is required, along with a minimum 5+ years of CAD drafting experience in pressure networks. Auto CAD, Micro Station, Autodesk Civil 3D & Navisworks software experience is also necessary. Required Skills and Qualifications Diploma or degree in civil engineering.Minimum 5+ years of MEA/UAE CAD drafting experience in pressure networks including portable water, irrigation firefighting and sewerage systems (gravity).Software experience required: Auto CAD, Micro Station, Autodesk Civil 3D & Navisworks.
