Teaching Students with Special Needs

SEN Teacher Role We are seeking experienced SEN teachers to join our team immediately.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's in Special Education, a B.Ed, and relevant teaching experience.Key Responsibilities: Ensure the objectives of the Inclusion policy framework are reflected across all school phases.Assess students' skills to determine their needs and develop teaching plans.Adapt curriculum and assessments to meet individual student needs.Record learning data related to students with Special Needs and monitor progress.Create Individual Education Plans or Behavior Plans in collaboration with SLT, School Counselor, Class Teacher, and Parents.Implement IEPs, assess students' performance, and track progress.Plan, organize, and assign activities tailored to each student's abilities.Discuss students' progress with parents, teachers, counselors, and administrators.Mentor LSAs working with students with special needs.Prior experience in an inclusive school is preferred.Job Requirements Seniority level: Entry level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Education and Training Industries: Education Administration Programs
