Smart Home Design Engineer This is a challenging and exciting opportunity to join our team as a Smart Home Design Engineer. We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in designing and implementing smart home systems.We require the successful candidate to have excellent technical knowledge of smart home technologies, including AV distribution, networking, and automation systems. The ideal candidate will also possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities: Design and develop integrated smart systems for residential and commercial clients.Produce system schematics, wiring diagrams, riser diagrams, and layouts using Auto CAD and other design tools.Select and specify components to ensure system compatibility and performance.Collaborate with stakeholders, including architects, designers, contractors, and project managers.Conduct site visits and surveys to verify design feasibility and compliance with industry standards.Support installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting processes.Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.5+ years of experience in smart home design, building automation, or AV systems.Proficiency with platforms such as Lutron, Control4, Savant, or KNX.Strong knowledge of AV distribution standards (HDMI, HDBase T, IP video).Solid foundation in IP networking, including routers, switches, and wireless solutions.Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and certification.Flexible and hybrid work arrangements.About the Role: This role involves working on high-end technology-forward projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering innovative solutions that meet client expectations.
