Logistics Manager Job Description Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing the daily management of operational duties, acting as a substitute for the Operations Manager when required.Prioritize and continually enhance safety at the delivery station.SUPERVISE logistics assistants, coordinators, and delivery associates to meet and exceed operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Monitor performance and offer coaching to team members as needed; collaborate with supporting departments to improve logistics processes and operations.Communicate with delivery service providers to establish expectations and improve quality.Select candidates for associate roles.Brief and monitor the workload of drivers and associates, ensuring accurate completion of administrative tasks.Measure and monitor workflows and daily metrics; assist with tracking, trending, and reporting site performance.Support training and mentoring new associates, ensuring they are well-equipped to perform their tasks.Address process-related issues as needed.Work flexibly in different shifts and do overtime when required.Sufficiently resource your function, including training needs, absence management, performance coaching, and monitoring productivity.We're looking for a skilled Logistics Manager to oversee our day-to-day operations.
