Document Management Specialist
Description
A document controller plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of projects. This position involves managing technical documents and drawings, maintaining accurate records, and providing timely access to information for production and quality teams.Key Responsibilities: Managing the receipt, registration, distribution, and archiving of technical documents and drawings Maintaining accurate records of incoming/outgoing documentation and tracking version control Supporting production and quality teams by ensuring timely access to up-to-date information Implementing and maintaining document control systems (digital and manual)Preparing reports and supporting internal/external audits Ensuring secure handling of sensitive project and factory documentation Identifying and reporting non-conformances related to documentation Training staff on document control processes when required Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience in a document control role, preferably in a joinery or factory environment Document control systems and file management skills Strong organizational and communication skills Proficiency in MS Office Suite Attention to detail and confidentiality Basic understanding of joinery terminology, materials, and workflow Familiarity with ISO 9001 and quality systems Experience with QA/QC documentation and inspection tools Ability to read joinery/architectural drawings Awareness of HSE standards in a factory environment Benefits: Opportunity to work on iconic projects Collaborative and supportive work environment Chance for professional growth and career progression
