Business Intelligence Data Analyst Lead

Job Overview This position oversees the daily activities of data analysts within the Business Intelligence department. The role also involves developing advanced analytical data products and contributing to the maturing of data governance processes."

Main Responsibilities: Provides technical oversight during the design phase of the development life cycle, ensuring that data analysts are on the right track.Reviews and approves the final design approach, work estimates submitted by data analysts after the design phase.Monitors the distribution of work across data analysts, ensuring optimal efficiency and productivity.Supervises data analysts' accountability towards their effective and efficient throughput.Contributes to the BI outreach and change-management program by developing and presenting instructive training sessions.Develops analytical data products using visual analytics, statistical and software tools.Applies appropriate statistical techniques when required, such as identifying trends and patterns in data.Performs business analytics requirements elicitation, collaborating with data architects and data engineers when cleaning, transforming and modeling data.Key Requirements: Proficiency with a visual data analytics tool (Tableau, Power BI) - minimum of eight (8) years Proficiency with analytical/reporting applications including Access, Excel, Crystal, SSRS - minimum of eight (8) years ANSI SQL experience - minimum of eight (8) years Strong analytical skills and ability to research and troubleshoot complex data problems independently - minimum of eight (8) years Broad-based business knowledge in one of the following verticals financial, clinical or operational - Minimum of eight (8) years required Management experience – minimum of two (2) years About Us We're unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
