Instrumentation Specialist

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation Engineer to join our team.About the Role The successful candidate will be responsible for performing technical tasks assigned by the Instrumentation Discipline Lead, including design, checking, layout definition, installation drawings, and material definition, validation, testing, and engineering of process measuring sensors, process actuators, installation elements, and process safety elements.Key Responsibilities Review client technical documentation and requirements to ensure alignment with project objectives.Coordinate subcontracted engineering activities and control subcontracted engineering documents to ensure timely completion.Define engineering design basis and guidelines to drive optimal project outcomes.Prepare technical documentation for instrumentation elements, material, and services requisitions, and prepare internal evaluations according to procedures.Provide technical support to project teams to ensure seamless execution.Optimize instrumentation design to minimize cost and complexity while ensuring compliance with contractual and safety requirements.Prepare instrumentation technical specifications, installation specifications, and drawings to facilitate project implementation.Validate vendor control valves and safety valves sizing calculations to ensure accuracy and reliability.Participate in factory acceptance testing (FAT) activities and vendor workshops to ensure quality and adherence to standards.Requirements A strong background in instrumentation engineering with experience in process measuring sensors, process actuators, installation elements, and process safety elements.Excellent communication and coordination skills to interface with project teams and vendors.Able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.Benefits A competitive compensation package.A dynamic and challenging work environment.
