Job Description An ELV Senior Technician is a pivotal role that plays a key part in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Extra Low Voltage systems across various projects. This position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, interfacing with everything from fire alarms and security systems to building automation and access control systems.The successful candidate will guide project teams and ensure that our systems are optimally designed and precisely operational. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure that all ELV implementations meet customer specifications and compliance standards.Key Responsibilities Install and configure Extra Low Voltage systems, including CCTV and access control systems.Conduct routine maintenance checks and repairs on various ELV equipment.Coordinate with engineers and project managers on ELV system designs and specifications.Perform diagnostic tests to identify equipment faults and implement necessary repairs.Document all installation and service activities with detailed technical reports.Train junior technicians on proper installation techniques and safety protocols.Ensure all systems comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.Provide expert advice on system upgrades and new ELV solutions to clients.Manage the inventory of tools, parts, and equipment efficiently for all projects.Respond promptly to customer inquiries and service requests, ensuring client satisfaction.Participate actively in project planning meetings to provide technical insights and clarity.Assist in the preparation and evaluation of project bids for ELV system undertakings.Requirements A minimum of a diploma or equivalent in electrical engineering or a related field.At least five years of experience in ELV systems and technologies.A proven track record in installing and maintaining ELV systems efficiently.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for technical issues.Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and project teams.A sound understanding of electrical safety standards and regulatory requirements.The ability to work independently as well as part of a dynamic team environment.
