Job Description This role involves overseeing the entire project lifecycle from planning to delivery, ensuring that all aspects of the project are managed effectively and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing large-scale projects and a strong understanding of construction engineering principles.Ensure compliance with OSHA and local safety regulations.Enforce safety protocols on site.Adherence to Safety Standards: Compliance with Building Codes and Regulations: Ethical Conduct: Documentation and Reporting: Professional Communication: The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and timely records of project progress, changes, and incidents. They will also need to facilitate effective communication among team members, stakeholders, and clients.Responsibilities This role encompasses several key responsibilities including: Assist in project planning, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.Coordinate between design team, draughtsmen, subcontractors, and suppliers.The selected candidate will also be responsible for providing onsite technical guidance and problem-solving support. They will interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications, and prepare method statements for all kinds of civil activities.Additionally, they will monitor workmanship and materials to ensure adherence to quality standards and conduct or assist with inspections and testing.Support procurement of materials and equipment.Track delivery schedules and inventory.The selected candidate will be responsible for tracking project costs with management and ensuring adherence to the budget. They will also prepare cost estimates and monitor change orders.Maintain and update construction schedules following project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).The job requires the ability to identify potential risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies. Additionally, the selected candidate will be responsible for monitoring subcontractor performance and ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.Ensure construction practices align with sustainability goals and environmental regulations.Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.Minimum 8-10 years of experience in marine construction engineering with a proven track record in managing large-scale projects.Valid UAE driving license.Requirements The selected candidate must be able to work full-time and have relevant experience in project engineering and construction.
