The successful candidate will be responsible for purchasing products and services for the organization at competitive prices while ensuring quality standards are met.The role requires a blend of analytical and negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to develop relationships with vendors. Successful Procurement Professionals help companies improve profit margins and maintain the availability of essential goods and services.Purchasing and Supply Chain Management: Identify and research potential suppliers to meet product and service requirements. Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings.Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and changes to keep sourcing strategies competitive.Supplier Evaluation: Evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality and timely delivery of products.Collaboration: Collaborate with internal departments to forecast demand and ensure supply chain efficiency.Purchase Order Management: Develop and manage purchase orders from initiation through fulfillment and payment.Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on purchasing activity and deliverables to management.Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure long-term partnerships.Cost-Benefit Analysis: Conduct cost-benefit analyses to recommend efficient purchasing strategies to the leadership team.Stay Informed: Stay informed of new products and services relevant to the business for strategic advantage.Compliance: Ensure compliance with company and regulatory policies in all purchasing activities.Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role.Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful contract management.Technical Skills: Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess purchasing options effectively.Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with suppliers.Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in complex contract and purchasing agreements.About the Role: This is an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Professional to join our team and contribute to our organization's success.
